• This is another incredible story that continues on with the storyline and adventures from Transfixed, but also adds more twists and turns that will leave you wanting for more until (and yes even through) the very end. Very well written, and left me wishing the next book was already out. Be prepared for a rollercoaster of emotions.
• Freya continues to be up for the challenges she faces in and around the Big Easy. All the while Sterling is frantic to help Freya or is he? A. Lonergan has delivered again with great characters and twists I had no idea were coming! A great read!
• Another good book from this author. I love the fact that this series takes place in louisiana, and I also LOVE the assortment of different mythical creatures!
• Don’t take my review for it, purchase the book yourself and READ it. It is really that good.
  
  After reading this book, I am once again at a loss for words. I got to the last page, and kept flipping because there was no way that the book ended. I don’t think this second book could have ended any more perfectly.
  So much happened in the second book, both good and bad. There were moments when I would start tearing up, and that’s how I now I have found a good book. The author is able to bring the book to life and everything seems so real.
  I also love how she brings in a few things directly tied to Cajuns and New Orleans.
  Absolutely cannot wait for the next book!
• Exciting story and i definitely didn't see the twists we got. And my heart hurt at the ending. I cannot wait until the next one comes out. Fingers crossed for a HEA!
• A. Lonergan’s transfixed is for sure one of my favorite books, & fixated was even better. The story keeps you captivated the entire time, never wanting to put the book down. I love how she’s able to pull you in as if you are walking the streets of New Orleans & displays the spirit perfectly. I love the stories of each character, can’t wait for the next book!!!
• CAPTIVATING!! This story draws you in with every page / chapter ! Keeps you guessing and wanting more ! I have reread This book twice and I am still impressed with it ! This book is amazing !!!
